About iGOT KY Content Framework and Quality Assurance (CFQA)
The iGOT KY Content Framework enlists a set of guidelines to design and develop content that is learner-centric, action-oriented and accessible for diverse learners.
The Content Framework recommends the Watch-Think-Do-Explore-Test (WTDET) methodology for content. It also suggests the structure of content followed by iGOT KY.
Complementing the iGOT Content Framework, the CFQA document also proposes the Quality Assurance criteria for ensuring the content onboarded on the iGOT KY platform is appropriate, engaging, and of high quality. The Quality Assurance criteria aim to review the quality of content through a list of 30 parameters across 6 Quality Assurance (QA) criteria. The Quality Assurance Framework also lists mandatory qualifying criteria such as copyright violations, misrepresentation, profanity, defamation, etc.
As per the review process followed on iGOT KY,
- content creators self certify the compliance of their content to the iGOT KY content framework. This is done by answering a series of questions belonging to content quality parameters.
- iGOT KY generates a Content Quality Scorecard (CQS) by evaluating the responses submitted by the content creator for the various content quality parameters.
Depending upon the score, iGOT KY classifies the content as:
Classification grade | Avg CQS | Definition |
---|---|---|
iGOT Toddler | Below 60% | Needs a lot of improvement to meet the 'iGOT Qualified' standard |
iGOT Friendly | 60% to 70% | Needs a little improvement to meet the 'iGOT Qualified' standard |
iGOT Qualified | Above 70% | Met the minimum quality requirements |
As part of the review process, content on iGOT must first fulfil certain mandatory requirements. These requirements are defined under the iGOT KY Gate Criteria and check for the following
